BIO

Jillian Geiter was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Southern Delaware, where she graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.F.A in 2026. She is a multimedia artist who focuses on acrylic and oil paints along with forms of digital and moving media. Her work consists of expressionism and illustrative art, working with the psychology of colors and composition allows her to convey aggressive and somber topics in a physical state.

Her artwork is meant to reach a wide variety of audiences, encouraging the viewer to look past the initial subjects. It explores how people can have a “black and white” mindset when approaching situations that don’t align with their reality.

Throughout her work, some details may only be seen by an observant eye. Her work is to be embodied by the viewer, having them move around the piece in order to see the entire image.

Her goal is for the viewer to look past first impressions and interpret the unordinary.
